MEET OUR PET RESORT STAFF

JODI, Pet Resort Supervisor/Cat Hospital Customer Service Specialist

Jodi is a Customer Service Specialist at the Avondale Cat Hospital.  She has been with Avondale for 9 years.  Jodi has 3 dogs, "Dweeil", a yellow lab; "Ariel", a Maltese; "Sarah", a Rat Terrier and 2 cats - "Kodi" and "Jasmine". 

She enjoys shopping and spending time with her family, husband, Brad and son, Bryan, who also works at the Pet Resort.  Jodi also loves to read.

SARAH, Pet Resort Assistant Supervisor

Sarah's responsibilities include overseeing the Pet Resort reception desk and preparing the schedule for the animal caregivers.

Sarah has been employed at Avondale since 2002.  She has a Lab mix named "Candy" and "Harley", who is a German Shepherd mix.  She enjoys racing and hanging out with her friends in her free time.  Sarah plans to go to college in the future.

BRYAN, Pet Resort Caretaker; Pet Resort Kennel Area Shift Leader

Bryan has been employed by Avondale Pet Resort since 2006 as an animal caregiver.  He feeds, waters, walks and cares for the animals that are boarded at our Pet Resort.

He has two cats, "Jasmine" and "Kodi"; a yellow lab, "Dweezil"; a rat terrier, "Sarah" and a Maltese, "Ariel".  In his free time he enjoys bowling and spending time with friends.

AMY, Pet Resort Caretaker; Pet Resort Kennel Area Shift Leader

Amy has been with the Avondale Pet Resort since the summer of 2007.  She is one of the animal care givers and makes sure that all of the dogs and cats have their every need met.

She has a Guinea pig named Mo Hawk and in her free time enjoys shopping, watching sports and hanging with friends.

SANDY, Pet Resort Caretaker;

Shift Leader

Sandy has been with the Pet Resort since the summer of 2008.  She has a lab-mix named Hershey, who loves kids and other animals - except cats! 

Sandy keeps busy with her kids, Justin and Samantha and loves going to the kids activities, reading and playing with Hershey.

STACI, Animal Caregiver

Staci has been with the Avondale Pet Resort as a part-time Animal Caregiver since the fall of 2008.  Her responsibilities include keeping all of the animals in our care exercised, fed, watered, walked, bathed and loved.  Staci has been with the Avondale Grooming Salon since the fall of 2008.  Her part-time responsibilities include bath and brush outs for dogs as well as grooming using the FURminator Shed-Less (www.furminator.com) treatment. 

JOSH, Front desk Client Services Coordinator/Animal Caregiver/

Level I Pet Care Technician

Josh is one of the Animal Caregivers at the Avondale Pet Resort.  He also works at the Avondale Pet Resort front desk and the Avondale Cat Hospital front desk as a Client Services Coordinator.  He has been employed by the Avondale Pet Resort since the beginning of 2009.  He has received the rating of Level I Pet Care Technician by the Pet Care Services Association.  He prides himself in taking excellent care of clients and their pets.  Josh works hard to make sure our pet guests are entertained and well cared for during their stay. 

ELIZABETH, Animal Caregiver

Elizabeth is one of the animal caregivers at the Avondale Pet Resort.  Her duties include playing with the animals, walking them, making sure that they have food and water and comfortable beds to sleep in.  She has a poodle mix named Grimmy; a cat, Sam; a rabbit, Hamlet and a Conure bird named Dexter.  

She has been employed by the Pet Resort since the winter of 2008 and in her free time she likes to spend time with friends and family, go on hikes with her dog, do laps in the pool, read novels and magazines, and play the piano, which she has played for 7 years.

MINDA, Animal Care Giver

Minda has been with the Avondale Pet Resort since the summer of 2008.  She has a Siamese cat named Samantha. 

Minda loves animals and enjoys caring for them.  In her free time she likes to read, watch movies and eat pizza.

KATIE, Animal Care Giver

Katie has been an animal caregiver at the Avondale Pet Resort since the summer of 2009.  Her duties include playtime with the dogs, feeding them, bathing them, and making sure their rooms are clean and comfortable.

She has one dog, "Kimi Mini".  In her free time she loves to spend time with her friends and watch movies.

Jordan is one of the animal caregivers at the Avondale Pet Resort and is one of the shift leaders.  Jordan's responsibilities include making sure the dogs are walked, played with and have plenty of food and water in a comfortable environment.  She also makes sure the cats in the Cat Condos have food, water and that their space is nice and clean.  There are 2 Dachsunds at Jordan's house, "Riley" and "Beau" as well as her cat, "Maddie".  In her free time she enjoys going to hockey games and spending time with friends and family.

BLAKE, Animal Care Giver

Blake not only cares for the animals at the Avondale Pet Resort, he also fixes anything that needs fixed or helps with any maintenance related issue!  He has been with the Avondale Pet Resort since the beginning of 2010.  He has a Chesapeak Bay Retriever, Diesel, and in his free time he spends time hunting or farming.

 

BEN, Animal Care Giver

Ben is an animal caregiver at the Avondale Pet Resort.  His duties include caring for the dogs and cats who are vacationing at the Pet Resort.  He provides playtimes and exercise time for the dogs as well as making sure their water dishes are full and they are fed at the appropriate times.  He makes sure their suite or dormitory room is clean and odor free.  He additionally makes sure the cats in the Cat Condos have plenty of food and water and their condo is clean and odor free.  He has 2 Dachsund dogs, Beau and Riley.  In his free time he plays hockey and enjoys listening to music.

JENIFER, Animal Care Giver

Jenifer is one of the care coordinators at the Avondale Pet Resort.  Her friendly smile will greet you as you bring your dogs and cats to the Pet Resort for boarding, grooming or doggie daycare.  Jenifer has been with Avondale since the spring of 2010.  She has a Border Collie/Springer Mix named "Chilly Willy" and a black house kitty named "Scooter".In her free time she loves spending time with her husband, Joel, and visiting her two step-daughters in Arizona, shopping, sewing, decorating, taking road trips and spending time with her pets.

ELIZABETH H., Animal Care Giver

Elizabeth is an animal caregiver for the Avondale Pet Resort and has been in her position since the spring of 2010.  Her duties include making sure all of the dogs and cats that have reservations in our Cat Condos, dog Suites or dog dormitories have plenty of food and water and are in a nice, clean environment.  She also spends extra play time with the dogs.  She has three cats of her own, "Tinkerbell", "Bubbles", and "Mama Kitty".  In her free time she loves to play tennis, go swimming, go to concerts, listen to music and just have fun with her friends.

Bailey is one of the animal caregivers that works at the Avondale Pet Resort.  Her job involves caring for the dogs and cats that are guests of the Pet Resort.  She makes sure their "maid" service is top notch and that they have plenty of water and food.  She also walks the dogs that are our guests and provides extra playtime. 

JUDY, Animal Caregiver

Judy is one of the animal caregivers at the Avondale Pet Resort.  She has been a caregiver since the summer of 2010.  She loves spending time with the animals at the Pet Resort!  

She has 2 cats of her own, "Chewy" and "Sadie".  She says that before her son was born, her cats were her only babies and they love them dearly.  In Judy's free time she enjoys spending time with her husband and their son and cuddling with the kitties!

SHELLAGH, Animal Caregiver

Shellagh is one of the animal caregivers at the Avondale Pet Resort.  She has been with the Pet Resort since the summer of 2010.  She loves taking care of all the doggies and kitties who visit us.  

Shellagh has four cats, "Chester", "Stevie", "Forte" and "Gizmo".  They are joined by her dog, "Savana" who is a terrier mix.  In her free time she enjoys doing arts and crafts, playing video games and fostering for the Animal Rescue League.
