MEET OUR PET RESORT STAFF

JODI, Pet Resort Supervisor/Cat Hospital Customer Service Specialist

Jodi is a Customer Service Specialist at the Avondale Cat Hospital.  She has been with Avondale for 9 years.  Jodi has 3 dogs, "Dweeil", a yellow lab; "Ariel", a Maltese; "Sarah", a Rat Terrier and 2 cats - "Kodi" and "Jasmine". 

She enjoys shopping and spending time with her family, husband, Brad and son, Bryan, who also works at the Pet Resort.  Jodi also loves to read.

SARAH, Pet Resort Assistant Supervisor

Sarah's responsibilities include overseeing the Pet Resort reception desk and preparing the schedule for the animal caregivers.

Sarah has been employed at Avondale since 2002.  She has a Lab mix named "Candy" and "Harley", who is a German Shepherd mix.  She enjoys racing and hanging out with her friends in her free time.  Sarah plans to go to college in the future.

BRYAN, Pet Resort Caretaker; Pet Resort Kennel Area Shift Leader

Bryan has been employed by Avondale Pet Resort since 2006 as an animal caregiver.  He feeds, waters, walks and cares for the animals that are boarded at our Pet Resort.

He has two cats, "Jasmine" and "Kodi"; a yellow lab, "Dweezil"; a rat terrier, "Sarah" and a Maltese, "Ariel".  In his free time he enjoys bowling and spending time with friends.

AMY, Pet Resort Caretaker; Pet Resort Kennel Area Shift Leader

Amy has been with the Avondale Pet Resort since the summer of 2007.  She is one of the animal care givers and makes sure that all of the dogs and cats have their every need met.

She has a Guinea pig named Mo Hawk and in her free time enjoys shopping, watching sports and hanging with friends.

SANDY, Pet Resort Caretaker;

Shift Leader

Sandy has been with the Pet Resort since the summer of 2008.  She has a lab-mix named Hershey, who loves kids and other animals - except cats! 

Sandy keeps busy with her kids, Justin and Samantha and loves going to the kids activities, reading and playing with Hershey.

HANNAH M., Pet Resort Caretaker

Hanna is an Animal Caregiver.  She walks the dogs, does doggie playtimes and makes sure the dogs and cats have adequate food and water at all times.  She also makes sure all the pets are in a clean and comfortable environment.  Hanna also helps at the Pet Resort front desk in Customer Service.  She has been with the Avondale Pet Resort since the summer of 2008.  Hanna has a smooth-haired Dauschund named Bella.

She is an avid member of FCCLA, a National Honors Student and Honors Spanish club member at her high school as well as being a Student Ambassador and an active member in her community.

STACI, Pet Groomer / Animal Caregiver

Staci has been with the Avondale Pet Resort as a part-time Animal Caregiver since the fall of 2008.  Her responsibilities include keeping all of the animals in our care exercised, fed, watered, walked, bathed and loved.  Staci has been with the Avondale Grooming Salon since the fall of 2008.  Her part-time responsibilities include bath and brush outs for dogs as well as grooming using the FURminator Shed-Less (www.furminator.com) treatment. 

JOSH, Animal Caregiver/Doggie Daycare Team Leader

Josh is one of the care giver kennel assistants at the Avondale Pet Resort.  He has worked at the Resort since the winter of 2009.  He prides himself in taking excellent care of the guests that stay at the Avondale Pet Resort and works hard to make sure they are entertained and well cared for during their stay. 

He has an American Staffordshire Terrier, "Ella" that he calls "Purdy".  He loves being outdoors and all kinds of sporting activities.  In his free time he enjoys cars, playing his guitar and listening to music.

ELIZABETH, Animal Caregiver

Elizabeth is one of the animal caregivers at the Avondale Pet Resort.  Her duties include playing with the animals, walking them, making sure that they have food and water and comfortable beds to sleep in.  She has a poodle mix named Grimmy; a cat, Sam; a rabbit, Hamlet and a Conure bird named Dexter.  

She has been employed by the Pet Resort since the winter of 2008 and in her free time she likes to spend time with friends and family, go on hikes with her dog, do laps in the pool, read novels and magazines, and play the piano, which she has played for 7 years.

KIRSTEN, Animal Caregiver & Pet Groomer  

Kirsten has been with the Avondale Grooming department and the Avondale kennel care giver staff on a part time basis since the winter of 2009.  She enjoys both areas of the Pet Resort.  She has 4 dogs, Staci; Laci; Callie and Buddy.  When not going to school or working, she enjoys playing softball, knitting and spending time with her friends.

ASHLEIGH, Animal Caregiver;

Shift Leader

Ashleigh began her employment with Avondale Pet Resort in the summer of 2009.  She is not only an animal caregiver for the Resort, she also assists with Avondale's Doggie Daycare and helps out at the Pet Resort front desk.  She loves her job as it allows her to play with the animals, train dogs as well as plan fun activities for them in the daycare.  Ashleigh works part time and the rest of her time is spent as a student in the veterinary technician program. 

She has two dogs - an American Bulldog named "Gangsta" and a Bullmastiff/German Shepherd mix she rescued named "Beast.  In her free time she enjoys walking her dogs, training and grooming her dogs, studying about dogs, working out and actively working to make animal cruelty laws stronger.

LINDSEY, Client Care Specialist

Lindsey is a client specialist at the Avondale Pet Resort.  She has been with Avondale since 2008.  

She has a white Labrador, China and her interests outside of work include reading and spending time with friends and family.

SIERRA, Animal Caregiver

Sierra is an animal caregiver at the Avondale Pet Resort and has been with the Pet Resort since the summer of 2009.  She has two cats, Cheeba, who is a tabby and Zingo, who is a Siamese.  

She has a German Shepherd dog named Harley.  In her free time she loves hanging out with friends and family and loves being outside.

MINDA, Animal Care Giver

Minda has been with the Avondale Pet Resort since the summer of 2008.  She has a Siamese cat named Samantha. 

Minda loves animals and enjoys caring for them.  In her free time she likes to read, watch movies and eat pizza.

KATIE, Animal Care Giver

Katie has been an animal caregiver at the Avondale Pet Resort since the summer of 2009.  Her duties include playtime with the dogs, feeding them, bathing them, and making sure their rooms are clean and comfortable.

She has one dog, "Kimi Mini".  In her free time she loves to spend time with her friends and watch movies.

TAYLOR - Animal Caregiver
 
Taylor is one of the animal caregivers at the Avondale Pet Resort.  She has been with the Pet Resort since the fall of 2009.  Her duties include making sure all the pets are exercised, played with and have plenty of food and water and a nice clean room.  She has a dog, "Saki", a Shiba Inu.  She has a special interest in animal science, but in her spare time she loves to shop, go to movies and hang out with friends.

ANGELA D., Pet Groomer

Angela is one of the professional dog groomers at the Avondale Pet Resort.  She has been with the Pet Resort since the fall of 2009.  She has a Labordoodle named "Skyler" and a Scotty named "Skoddi".  She also has 3 horses, Trickzy a Thoroughbred mare, "Shyann" a Quarter Horse mare and "Smoke" an Appaloosa gelding.  Angela loves working with all animals and finds satisfaction in watching them change as she works with them.  She also enjoys working with the owners and helping them understand their pet and their needs.  

CHANDAL, Animal Care Giver

Chandal is one of the Animal Caregivers at the Avondale Pet Resort.  Clearly her love for animals is evident in all that she does.  Her responsibilities include keeping the Pet Resort clean and organized, the animals in our care comfortable with plenty of food and water.

She has been with the Avondale Pet Resort since the winter of 2010. She has three dogs of her own:  "Tank" who is a Bullmastiff/Pitbull; "Syra" who is a Pitbull and "Monster" who is a mixed breed.  Her hobbies include riding horses, hiking, camping, sightseeing, fishing, bird watching, riding 4-wheelers and spending time with all kinds of animals.

Jordan is one of the animal caregivers at the Avondale Pet Resort and is one of the shift leaders.  Jordan's responsibilities include making sure the dogs are walked, played with and have plenty of food and water in a comfortable environment.  She also makes sure the cats in the Cat Condos have food, water and that their space is nice and clean.  There are 2 Dachsunds at Jordan's house, "Riley" and "Beau" as well as her cat, "Maddie".  In her free time she enjoys going to hockey games and spending time with friends and family.
